Application Demos in the Wireless Toolkit
The toolkit comes with the following demo applications, which can all
be run in the Emulator:
- audiodemo. A set of MIDlets that demonstrate single tone
generation, tone sequencing using various sources such as JAR files
and HTTP, and variations on mixing tone, WAV, and tone sequencing in a
single application.
- demos. A set of seven MIDlets that demonstrate use of
colors, fonts, HTTP connections, and information displays.
- FPDemo. A single MIDlet demonstrating floating point
support in CLDC1.1.
- games. A set of three MIDlets demonstrating simple gaming
functionality.
- jsr172demo. A MIDlet demonstrating how an application can
access standard web services. For a walk through of the

- mmademo. A set of MIDlets demonstrating the use of the
MMAPI to playback tones, audio files, and video files. They also
demonstrate audio capture, single tone generation and tone sequencing,
and the use of audio with interactive games. For details about the

- NetworkDemo. A set of network protocol applications that
demonstrate Socket, Datagram, and Comm messaging.
- photoalbum. A single MIDlet demonstrating graphics support.
- SMSDemo. An SMS messaging MIDlet demonstrating sending
and receiving SMS text messages with push registry support. For a walk

- UIDemo. A single MIDlet demonstrating MIDP high-level UI
widgets.
