SDSU CS 596: Client Server Programming
Extra Credit

San Diego State University -- This page last updated February 12, 1995 ------------------------------------------------------------

Since not everyone enrolled in the course is at the exact same level, we try to keep things interesting for those who think the course is not going fast enough. To this end we have several extra credit assignments which can be completed at any time before the final. These assignments do not count heavily towards the final grade, but are designed more to peak your interests in some of the areas which are not directly covered in the course.

For an extra credit assignment to get credit, the assignment must be completed completely. Most assignments will require you to provide a description of the solution and an actual working program. The description is probably more important than the program since it will show understanding of the underlying problem.

Here is the list of extra credit assignments:

  1. Problem with the listen() system call?
